Annual salary – £20,625
Monthly before tax – £1,718.75

In this role, you’ll enable our Artistic Director, Selina Thompson, to do her job, by making sure she has the right environment to work, her schedule takes account of sufficient rest and recovery time, and travel arrangements meet her needs. In turn, this supports her artistic practice, and the delivery of the company’s wider artistic programme.
This means you’ll spend some time in the office helping with administration, providing support for longer periods when in rehearsal or on residencies, and accompanying her to networking and arts events locally, nationally and internationally.
You’ll be based in the West Midlands (ideally Birmingham), be reliable and patient with great communication skills. You’re confident talking about ableism and access needs, and will have some experience – formal or informal – and knowledge of working with disabled folks, mad folks and/or folks with chronic illnesses.
It will help if you have formal care or access experience, are looking to switch into a care or access-focused career, or experience of being marginalised in the arts and/or the UK. A full driving licence and a sense of humour also welcome!
